Obituary

Judy Krueger, 74, of Coeur d'Alene passed away at Kootenai Medical on June 5, 2017. Judy was born January 1, 1943, in Rib Lake, Wisconsin to John and Fern (Stibbe) Novak. Judy had her early years in Rib Lake playing with the Makovec children and eating cheese bits from the local cheese factory. In the late 1940's the Novaks moved to Coeur d'Alene, following the Makovec family. Judy attended IHM Academy through her junior year and then transferred to Coeur d'Alene High School to graduate.

Judy married Jerry Martin shortly thereafter. They had four children together: Richard Martin of Coeur d'Alene, Randy Martin of Clarkston, Washington, Deborah Randolph of Boise, Idaho, and Ron Martin of Post Falls. After her separation from Jerry she met and married Donald Wargi. They had one son, Robert B. Wargi. After her divorce she moved to Coeur d'Alene from Boise. She met Wesley Krueger at pizza in Spokane through her friend Meg (Makovec) Elyard of Coeur d'Alene. Judy married Wes on December 30, 1982 at the Calvary Chapel at Fort Sherman in Coeur d'Alene. They had no children together, but she loved Tiffany Ann (Krueger) Renalds of Denver, Colorado from Wes's previous marriage.

Judy was the current State Representative for the National Association of Miniature Enthusiasts. She gained and had her creativity enhanced by her coordinating Community Education classes at Fairmont Junior High in Boise. She also took those classes from Boise State College. She was an executive secretary for various businesses in the area. In 1999, she became the in-home care provider for Wes's parents, Roland and Hatie Krueger from Drake, North Dakota.

Her main hobby was her miniatures, NAME, Play with Ity-bits, and sale shows in the Northwest. Her biggest love was her fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Fern Novak; a sister, Rhea (Novak) Wood of Spokane; and one grandchild, KC Martin of Post Falls.

Donations in memory of Judy may be made to St. Pius X Outreach Program and Soup Kitchen, 625 E. Haycraft Ave, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho 83815 or NAME: National Association of Miniature Enthusiasts, P.O. Box 69, Carmel, IN 46082-0069.
