Joan Lucile Bolle, 84, residing in Hayden Idaho, died Sunday April 30th 2017 at the Hospice House at Hummingbird Fields in Coeur d'Alene Idaho following a stroke on Friday the 21st.
She leaves her husband of 65 years, Lee Bolle; her daughter, Brenda Spangenberg and son-in-law Mario Spangenberg, and her granddaughter; Amber Piper; She will be greeted with open arms in heaven by her deceased daughter Beverly S. Piper.
Joan was born on June 29th 1932 in Denver Colorado, the daughter of Edward C. Ziegler Sr and Mabel K. Umberger. In her early years, Joan worked for the family candy store while she attended school at South Denver High School graduating in 1949. Joan lived in Colorado for 68 years and then moved to Idaho in 2001 where she has lived for the last 16 years.
Joan worked for the school district in Jefferson County Colorado; she was a school bus drive and later became school transportation supervisor. She worked as a bus driver for RTA for the city of Denver as well. She was a woman of many talents, she taught music, was an accomplished painter and portrait drawer. She loved animals and nature all her life, she rode horses for a good part of her life moving on to motorcycles with Lee and the Shiners' where she became a member of the Ladies of the Nile.
One of her favorite sayings was:
Leave the rest to God.
We now must follow her words and know that she is in good Hands. Thank you Lord for all your blessings, and for sharing Joan Bolle with us may she Rest in Peace.
